Hi all

Every ten weeks or so we will be giving you a run down on how the club is going with relation to post counts and members stats.

Our new forums started on November the 5th so the time has come to give you an idea of how we are doing as a club.

The first graph shows total membership posts for each week since the 5th of November. You will notice how it dropped off around Christmas time and then picked up again just after. The light blue line going across the graph is the average posts we used to get prior to November 5th. As you will see we have never fallen below that figure.

The second graph shows the rise in member numbers starting off from November 5th. As you will see it has been climbing at more or less the same rate since we started and shows no signs of tailing off yet.

Is the jump from week 9 to week 10 accurate?

Seems a massive spike!

Loving the member growth chart and look forward to seeing it in a months time :)

I have been known to make mistakes Rich so I will take a look. I will get back later

Sorry Rich I have just seen what you mean and yes I can confirm it is correct. By last thursday at 6pm we were already 100 posts over the week before total with Friday and Saturday still to go. It was a very very busy week and posts were coming from everywhere.

In short yes it is correct and yes it is a massive spike. We are trying to get the post count done automatically to save someone doing them but at the moment its not up and running but when it is it will make it much easier.

It should be remembered that these posts are members posts only and do not relect any posts which admins and moderators make within the admin/moderator forum.

I do not make many posts in the moderator forums, they just happen to be twenty pages long so it seems like a lot :D

This is me we are talking about here Rich :laughing2: :jig:

I did the graph by crunching the numbers by hand and then entering them onto a website graph builder. I have no access to the admin controls thankfully (didn't want access) as I would only press the wrong button and send you off to cyber space never to return:mad:

Whether or not Christopher could do this I have no idea but I do know he is busy with work at the moment so my guess would be not for a while at least. Sorry Rich if I could I would but I can't so I won't :o

Worry not its all logged down and ready for posting ;)

I have not forgotten and it will make good reading. We are averaging 1753 per week at the moment

Remember don't go by total post count as these figures are only member posts and not mods or admin forum posts.

I noticed a few members are putting their membership number in their signatures. How do we find out what our number is?

I'm hoping for 666 just to annoy the in-laws!
