Hi Smiler.
Try contacting SMCTRADING who is a member on here, i am sure he would be able to help.
Failing that there are some Rover breakers around, there is one in Heanor near to where i live, i could get the number if you wish.

Not as surprise theres 10 left at the price of a new car or two!
Try DK Salvage in Peterborough, not that far from rutland, 01733 553655. They often have 75 and zts in.

If a gearbox costs £1.985.63 plus vat = £2282.75 and then you still have to have your gearbox replaced by the new one, the whole thing becomes completely non viable. In my case It would be cheaper to scrap the car and buy another one..
I bought my car complete with a working gearbox for only £1,850. including 8 months tax and MOT..

Thanks for the input troops, I very much think that I will be going down the breakers route as I am propper skint at the mo. As for having 10 on the shelf!!! can't say I am supprised, it would be twice what I paid for it! Thanks for the offer but I nearly vomited when I read that. LOL.:o
