Morning Jeff,

Fabulous photos, they obviously are very relaxed with you and trusting.

How do you get them to cooperate for the magic moment?

Morning Phil,

I usually have one of their dangly toys in one hand (camera in other) and move it so their eyes follow it, firing the shutter when their eyes/expression is where I want it:}

Morning Jeff, thank you for the tip which I will use at a later date.

We are in a neighbourhood group in Bristol and last night we had disturbing news from them of a local cat being shot earlier on in the week by someone using an air rifle. The owner has had to pay £2,000 for treatment, her cat remains at the vets.

I realise some don’t like cats, but there is no need to shoot them. Who ever carried this out is the lowest, vile and cruel.

It's stories like this that make me want to buy shotgun with some beanbag rounds. Not lethal, but the barstool would certainly nurse a painful bruise for a few days.
