Ok, have done that, taken all of the electrical tape I put on back off. WDE on everything and cleaned up. No breaks or wear in wires back maybe almost a foot until I get to the cable routing where everything from the washer power,
lights and something else that seems to go off towards the front of the engine block meets. So no wear I can see. Do you think now that I've swapped over the light units that maybe disconnecting the battery may solve the problem?
I remember when I was removing the airbag for the steering column change that the warning light was off until I used the headlights.
