Should not be under the dash unless you have super powerful signals

anoying beeping sound

Im running igo8 on the double din which is excellant ,one thing though has anyone found a way of stopping the beeping noise when approaching a speed camera ? the voice tells me theres a camera coming up which is spot on but the beeping is annoying.

If I remember correctly, try changing "sound by approach" to " sound by overspeed" or is it alarm by overspeed?

Richiemd 23rd October 2010 13:06

thanks for that i've just tried it but it still beeped on the approach.

phenonix 23rd October 2010 13:15

There may also be an option to change the beep to "nothing"
Does the beeping sound increase as you get closer to the camera?

Richiemd 23rd October 2010 13:17

yes slightly.

phenonix 23rd October 2010 13:23

It will still beep when you change it to "overspeed" but only if your overspeeding, if below the speed it should not beep, if I recall correctly

Richiemd 23rd October 2010 13:26

that was my theory ,but i was only doing 30 in a 40 zone, and still beeped all the way.

phenonix 23rd October 2010 13:26

There may also be an option for how regular to do the beep, i.e. 50 metres on approach, 150 metres etc,

Hhmm beeped all the way, sounds like it's still "on approach"
