I'm delighted to let you know about the Bluebird Meet 2023, taking place this year on Saturday 1st July

The venue is the famous East Kirkby Aviation Centre - home of an impressive war museum and the iconic 'Just Jane' Lancaster bomber.

It's a wonderful venue in a relaxed setting, with the club cars allocated their own area close to the cafe as we know you all like a brew.

There will also be a raffle for a chance to win a ride in the Lancaster

Entry is £10 per car - please ensure you bring cash as we're a bit old fashioned with all that digital payment malarkey.

All proceeds will be for the Air Ambulance

Gates open at 10am

Lets hope we can make this yet another great event!

Sorry Dave. I'm not able to attend now. I have dislocated my knee and been unable to get into my 75 for three weeks. It's looking a distinct possibility that my Rover days are over.
At least till I can get a new knee.

I think we should go for this. I am looking at the rules and guidance for a national meet. Perhaps we could have a meeting at Kirkby over coffee.

I’m travelling up on Friday and staying at the Premier Inn in Boston. Be there Saturday night as well.

My stock of spares will be available for anyone to take as much as they want free of charge. Look out for the 03 reg moonstone tourer.
It would be great to leave Saturday afternoon with it all gone! By the way, if anyone could spare a drivers side cupholder blanking piece with a walnut front that would be much appreciated!

Never managed to get to this meet something always tended to come up, this year it was the good lady's fix or repair daily being written off.

As always we had a great time today, it was wonderful to see everyone and have a good catch up. Huge thanks to davelincs and the team for arranging the event.

Had my name down and sorry to miss it this year but a 48 hour notice change of travel plans for our overseas family means we had to give it a miss.

Thanks for all the pictures posted it really was a great day, Shame the club had no flags or banners to promote us to others

So far the event has raised over £1400 from raffle tickets sales gate entry and other donations hopefully it will get a bit higher as it is done for the Air Ambulance

A big thank you to Dave lincs for organising this, it was a really well organised day out, if it wasn't for him it wouldn't happen, I might as well send him my annual subscription because I would get more out of it.

I'm organising a few more meets this year hopefully will keep you informed Roy

Another great meet organised by Dave and the mid lincs club well supported by true zt 75 enthusiasts well done Dave for putting this together year after year you will always get my support and what would be my £10 subscriptions will go on the raffle which goes to very worthwhile causes thanks again for a fantastic day 😀

Another absolutely fantastic meet at East Kirkby! Dave pulls this off with the mid lincs rover club each year so fantastically. The growth in popularity year on year is a testament to his dedication and organisation of this event, and the result is a total credit to his efforts. It's become a keystone event in this part of the country and even nationally, as members/owners travel great distances to attend. This event should not be overlooked.

Many thanks to everyone who turned up and made this such a great event, So far it has raised over £1300 so far for the Air Ambulance

As with others Jan, Myself, Bri & Linda would like to pass on to Dave Lincs & others involved with organising the 'Bluebird' Meet again our sincere thanks & appreciation for yet another superb event in memory of our Debs.

Some pics of the day from me as a little reminder of a fantastic day spent with many Friends made over several years & hopefully more recent ones.

My sincere apologies to members who's cars I did not get around to, but owing to a bit of an argument with a garden shed step at home a couple of weeks ago sustaining I think some thigh muscle damage, which hindered mobility somewhat, still I wouldn't have wanted to miss this event.

At this point I would like to add, owing to the generosity & kindheartedness of a Lady Jan & Linda met working in the cafe who kindly loaned us the use of a Family members Scooter, which I wish to add was not actually needed immediately by the Family, my faith in the Humanity was restored, there are still some genuinely kind folk around, my sincere thanks to the Lady in question, we aim to keep in touch.

Once again Dave, many thanks for everything, we sincerely hope this fantastic event keeps going from strength to strength, Best Wishes, take care hope to see you again next year.

Looking forward to attending a few “up North” meets.

This meet has raised over £1200 for the Air Ambulance so far on the 6th of August we are having a meet up as the Lincolnshire automobile club are presenting the Air Ambulance representative with our donation at the landmark cafe near Laceby if anyone wants to join in as there will be a good turnout of cars as well

The money has been raised by raffle ticket sales, Money from gate entry and a donation from our sponsor N T Shaw of louth

I cannot make the meet up but hopefully someone will get some photo’s.
