Cobblers, I have a boot leak.

No, not the water one, but there is a split in the boot that covers the passenger side inboard CV joint. So, is there an easy fix or a labour intensive time consuming one. My car is a CDT Auto. I have all of the tools to do this myself and all the time in the world to do so, what do you reckon.

You can get easy fit boots that don't require the driveshaft to be separated.

I've used these on a couple of motors in the past. Not too bad to do as long as you don't end up sticking the gloves to the boot :D
