Take a look on YouTube, there are a couple of videos about replacing the lining. Also search the forum, there was a thread recently about changing the lining, may even be in the How To section.

Not a Rover, but this guy shows the complete process and that it's not a job to fear, he makes it look simple and everything you need to know.

The youtube video may be a case of the expert making it look easy. I think I might leave mine to sag for a while yet as I imagine getting myself into a sticky mess if I tried!

I considered where just taking the headlining foam off and preparing the board to a smooth surface. Then paint wit a suitable coloured paint.

I used pins around the edges as a temporary fix

There are better pins to chose

I believe I have found the cause of my repeated coughing bouts, the roof lining.

I knew mine was failing for a while, but to realize that the occasional face full of fibres and dust followed by a couple of weeks coughing has made me aware.

Mine will be sorted soon, but waiting for the wizard to perform his magic, I have removed the shell and done my best in cleaning it ready.

Might be worth giving these a try, plenty available in grey or beige. On the same theme I did a friend's Golf 5 years ago using stainless pearl head pins pushed in at an angle and still doing the job now.

I used these:

I wasn't over impressed with the grip on the screws so I bunged a blob of hot glue on each one.
