Headlight height adjustment not working
 

Just noticed that my headlight load height compensation isn't working, lights work fine but the adjustment wheel has no effect on beam height, currently in the lowest position pointing down......any suggestions?

I have the same problem!!!As suggested first port of call is a battery disconnect/reset which I am in the process of doing :shrug:

Worst case scenario there are manual adjusters on the headlights. One on the back of the headlight unit does vertical, one visible through a hole in the wing panel does horizontal. Have a look here.

I know little about the adjuster electrics, but if the thumb wheel doesn't affect the angle of the reflector, it seems to me either the power to the stepper motor is bad or the motor and it's operating arm has seized or the arm is detached from the reflector (unlikely). If both lamps show the same problem, it's obviously electrical. If only one lamp is affected it might be electrical or mechanical. I reckon most likely electrical.

I guess it's a process of logical testing and checking. There's the well known weak spot in the harness where it passes over the offside body seam (wears through). I think a multimeter will be useful to check the supply lines to the lamp motor. Pull the harness connector at the rear of the lamp case and check for voltage at the pin sockets. The top row of small pins go to the motor (one to side bulb). Someone will know the identities. I have a photo if needed but can't advise on what each one does or what voltage to expect.

Mine do the same, bumper off job as the wiring tends to get chaffed.
