So if its been parked a few hours then that should be long enough?
|
As soon as you open a door or similar the highline wakes up.
Open the boot and the bonnet. watch the red light on the sat nav unit in the boot it may be on constant or it may flash. When it has gone out then disconnect the battery. :) If you disconnect the battery when the light is on you MAY cause damage to it. D... |
OK thanks, I don't use the sat nav anyway, it takes a long time to input your destination, TV is just fuzzy so I only use the radio, the hi line unit is more if a decoration

A few minutes standing with everything off will be enough to extinguish the light and stop any whirring, not hours ... unless you have the famed problem which leaves 'em on all night and drains your battery! David |
I do hear a lot of wiring in the boot when I walk away, never thought to check how long it stays on for, I'll have to check that and hope it goes off after a few minutes
