After considerable time and effort looking far and wide, I have managed to source an 'economical' version of the limited edition 'oval type' Rover 75 Watch

It costs around £30, making it suitable as an everyday watch.

It is available from the following source:

The contact name is Chris.

The photo shows the original prototype, whereas I was able to influence the final design to have black hands, as I think the overall design is better.

Note: I have no connections to the company whatsoever.

If you decide to purchase one - enjoy!!

Attached picture of actual watch.

Looks like a nice thing to have as a birthday present for myself, my wife is going to give them a ring today, many thanks.

I been in contact with Chris from 'yourwatchdesign' and the price of the watch is now around £22, since the initial design costs are now covered.
Also, as standard the watch comes with silver hands and black is a (no cost) option, but I think you need to clearly specify your choice.

Well done Steve I was the one who purchased it from eBay I thought it looked quite good in all its glory when I received it.

As a low-cost alternative I would recommend it to other members.

Hopefully this thread has been usefull in pointing members towards a good quality Rover 75 style watch, I should have mine by midweek and will give an appraisal on arrival, in the mean time a big thanks to Stevie 25 for his efforts in sourcing this item.
