Fiat 131 loveliness

Just wasting time on eBay and stumbled on this beauty :xmas-smiley-008:

I loved these as a kid, always preferred them to Escorts etc. Lovely to see one that's original and in such nice condition.........half the price of a Mk2 escort too :xmas-smiley-032:

I guess if it was the Abarth version, it would be three times the price!

One was recently for sale on the web (the Arbarth version, Gp 4 prepared) at 130,000 Euros.
There's still the odd one around being used in historic rallying in the UK - I saw one in the Historic R.A.C. Rally at Croft Autodrome in 2015 - and it was being driven very hard - sideways.

Absolutely stunning

A real beauty
Well worth the money I'd say
Rare cars now so surely it's value would increase?

Chris

I saw this many months ago, how many of these are left now? We saw them and climbed over them in scrapyards and now they're very rare. The new Fiat 124 is out there...It's based on an MX5 but much nicer I think. I'm keeping my little Punto Sporting for the same reasons...

I too remember cars like this piled high in our local scrappy. If only we knew then what we know now :icon_rolleyes:
Love the 124 Spyder myself, does look nicer than the MX5, very pretty little car.
We had a Cinquecento Sporting that I wished we still had, great little car.
