2003/53 Rover 75 2.5V6 Connoisseur SE manual - only 53,000 miles and 2 owners from new

As some of you know I work in the motor trade and I originally took this in part exchange with circa 35k miles on the clock, the previous owner having had it from new. As my father-in-law liked my 75 so much he had asked me to look out for one. So he has owned this one for the past 3 or 4 years and he now needs to sell it on, so I am doing so on his behalf. Ideally it'll go to a loving home, and being worried it might get driven into the ground I thought it prudent to offer it here.

As you can see from the pictures it's clean and tidy. It drives absolutely perfectly with the exception of a slightly noisy clutch release bearing which you can just hear when pressing the clutch pedal. The clutch otherwise is fine and not slipping and the biting level is quite normal. There is some dampness on the rear carpet which is likely to be coming from the sunroof drains.

It has nice factory options; electric sunroof, cream leather, projector beam headlights, walnut steering wheel, cruise control, and a rear sunblind.

MOT is until November 2017, new cambelts and water pump were fitted by a Rover specialist in Worthing just last year.

I drove her home from Worthing the other night the drive is superb and a reminder of how lovely these cars are.

Obviously not looking to make a profit out of my family, and rather just looking for a fair return for my father-in-law. If I advertise it on Autotrader I thought £1650 and expect to take around £1500. However, to members I think you'll agree a fair price is £1250 please.
