Another mot pass!
Hi all
A succesfull MOT pass today on my 10 year old 95000 miler. I'm feeling pretty pleased with her after curing my leaks and now this news today. I have a Honda Accord 2.2 diesel and this is a 2006 plate with 52000 miles on the clock. I notice on comparing the emissions the difference in mean opacity is only 0.02 at 0.19 for the Rover and 0.17 for the Honda. On the acceleration test the Rover is better than the Honda with 0.20 and 0.21 respectively. I thought it would fail on the handbrake but it passed and only mariginally worse than the Honda on the total forces. Indicator bulbs failed due to being white, but my friendly mechanic replaced these. Rob:p: |
Everybody needs a friendly mechanic ;)
congrats on the pass, have a look on here for the handbrake compensator modification ;) |
There's a member, a rather nice guy in Garforth that will sort that Handbrake problem for you..He could perhaps pick up on the thread.

Hand Brake
Garforth- that's only down the road from me. Would be nice to have a forum member close, who knows the 75. I intend keeping mine - I've owned a car since 1971 and in a months time the 75 will be the longest I have ever kept a vehicle. You only get to this stage if you love the car!

Well done on the MOT pass Rob it a great feeling to have
