Whats happened to Photobucket?

Whats happened to Photobucket? It used to be the best image hosting site around. Now its full of ads and surveys and getting to my images is a struggle both on the web site and android app.

I'll be moving to another image hosting site. What site is recommended?

I have experienced the same problem with Photobucket. Such a shame, as it used to be very good.

Now I am using Flickr, which works very well.
It is just as easy to use, without all of the problems with pop-ups and freezing screens that I was getting with Photobucket.

I have quite a few photos of Flickr - but I don't know how to get a Flickr image into a post on here -any one help?

I see this question on all the other different forums I use, it really has gone belly up in the last few years. I've been using IMGUR for years without problems, then again I only use a desktop PC.

It's been going downhill for months :(

I use the NoScript and uBlock Origin plugins for Firefox (pc) to help control the crippled Photobucket we have today. These make it just tolerable, even though there are around 40 scripts trying to load every time you visit, so weeding out the dross takes time. I would have abandoned PB long ago if I didn't have hundreds of important images in there. Transfering it all elewhere would be a mammoth task I really don't want. Unless PB is made more accessible for the masses it'll become subscription only and then they'll leave in droves.

There is information on how to transfer your images from Photobucket to Flickr here.

I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to give this a go. ;)

I used to use flickr, but that went to the dogs when bought by yahoo. My recomendation is Ipernity, which works like flickr used to do. Only issue is that so few people know of this French photo-hosting site.
Just looked at Imgur, locked up my XP system for quite some time so will avoid this.
