How do I tell the difference between cdt and cdti
Hi,
How can I tell whether I have a cdt or a cdti? The vehicle is a Rover 75 2002 diesel tourer. However my local Rover specialists computer system lists it as a 2003 although it was registered in Sept 2002. |

There is a 116ps and a 135ps version, the only difference being the map or software in the engine ECU, the 116 can be reprogramed into a 135ps for a small cost. |
CDT was the 114 HP model, CDTi refers to both the 114 and the 131 HP model
|
Cdt. Cdti either way go for the xpower upgrade, totally transforms the car, gives a great smile when you're diving it

From your V5C and this document you can establish what it left the factory as ;)

This sticker is placed on some cars,on the door pillar..Usually denotes the version.

Here's one to throw the cat amongst the pidgeons
The 75 with a X-power upgrade or 135 tune is quicker between 50-70 in 4th than the MG versions. Saloons are 0.3 seconds quicker the Tourers 0.1 :getmecoat: Russ |
