Joe, have a little read of this, http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...54&postcount=1 :}

Was the contemporary available with the 116?
I thought they were all 131.

Sorry to jump in but I don't want you selling yourself short :}

Petetourer 18th July 2015 17:18

Probably is a 116, but looks more of a Club spec car to me :shrug:

I don't think the spec is out for the base Contemporary without options, I've seen a rundown on here somewhere but blowed if I can find it at the moment :(

Ooh interesting. A vehicle check comes up with Manufacturer: Rover, Model: Unknown..... Looks like one of the last factory ones with parts from every which where. Doesn't look like a Contemporary spec to me though, too many obvious diffences, wheels, mirrors, ventilation controls etc... A very nice looking and interesting car, more so for not conforming to the Contemporary spec.

I've read somewhere on we how to decifer the vin numbers on our vehicles. Would be interesting to see what this one worked out as.

Very good luck with your sale, looks like it could be something special.

Don't know why I said Club spec :duh: what I meant was Classic spec, as this is a facelift. Although I did think the wheels where Mk1 wheels. :shrug:
