HID Xenons OEM

Hi all,

I have purchased a set of OEM HID xenons for my ZTT. I have the factory headlight washers fitted. Are the HIDs plug and play and will the standard leveling wheel on the light switch work??

Any other hurdles to think about??

I have read many threads but still not certain if it just a case of remove bumper and fit??

Many Thanks

Has your car got the levelling sensor on the suspension?
Aside from that it's a simple replacement job. They may need realigning though as mine did. Run your engine when you do though as it took me about 15 minutes of faffing as the adjuster was broke and I ended up running the battery flat.

No but will fit self levelling rear shocks if required. Not required for the MOT though apparently.

I will though have them set up correctly much the same as normal headlights need to be so no dazzling other drivers!!

Simply scribe the location of the original position of the bolts, but have them aligned or checked at the earliest opportunity.

Whilst the bumper is off, check the positioning of the loom, wiring harness as sometimes the position is located against sharp edges..

Before you remove your old lights turn them on pointing at a wall/garage door/whatever and mark the position of the light beam on the wall. Now fit the xenons and adjust to the mark you made. Assuming your old lights were aligned your new one should be too.
