Navall eclipse support thread

Hello All, well its been quite a journey, it took longer for customs to release the head units than it did for us to make and ship them ! This thread we will use to support and consolidate information for the NAvall Eclipse head units that are currently in preparation and or in transit from Clacton on Sea to customers. Please email for your tracking number if you have not yet received it. We will be posting Updates and solutions to any niggles as we go. I respectfully ask that if you have a shipping concern or question not relating to the Eclipse, please PM or email me at [email protected] . It is only fair to keep this thread clean for Eclipse users. I will ask mods to remove any non Eclipse technical or support related postings. Of course that includes positive and negative !

First note to all Eclipse Customers that have traded up
Please DO NOT use the NAVALL 1,2 3 or WINCE looms to plug to your head unit
You must use only the Custom loom send.

I will second that...........DO NOT use your old loom, it will fit but is wired differently and will likely damage your new unit !

Thanks guys.

Can you clarify the "light green" wire mentioned in the instructions that should go to the handbrake? I cannot find that wire in the loom?

I have emailed but thought worth repeating here as I guess others will be installing over the weekend.

Thanks

Mike

Hi Julien,

All head units are sent via UPS Access Point, which means picking it up from a local Access point shop.

This has been done for a good few years by Sean now which saves missed deliveries because people are out at work, deliveries thrown over the fence, left in bins, on the front porch or left with dubious neighbours all of which has happened on many occasions with deliveries.

Much safer to pick it up with proof of I.D than deal with the consequences of the above mentioned:eek:

Hi Mike,

It's not needed Sir.

The instructions are generic Chinese ones which cover various looms for different vehicles.

There is handbrake on/off video override in the head unit settings.

Thanks Jeff.

I will ignore that bit then.

Rev Jules - Re deliveries, I collected mine from the UPS access point it was sent to. My nearest is on my way home, and I was able to collect it at about 3 today. So very easy in my case.

Who will be installed first? :}

Many thanks

Eclipse fitted!

Attachment 66378

Just cutting in to thank Sean & Jeff for supplying & fitting the Eclipse head unit. Completely transformed the centre console by removing the original auto reverse cassette unit & reversing camera is very beneficial! Apart from the navigation teething issue, it functions brilliantly! It's sadly not powering focal's like Jeff's great ZT-T!
Thanks to Jeff for the cuppa & knowledge, especially for letting me know (I'm ashamed to confess), how to open my boot with the keyfob! (I am used to a mk1 ZT-T).
