A little upset

I leave my caravan (2004 elddis firestorm 505) in caravan storage as i dont like people knowing when im away, ive not used it since february last year and went over today just to check up on it, when i got there i noticed that the caravan cover was no longer on it and it is covered in green mildewy slime, apparently the storage owners noticed it was ripped and flapping so removed it, never bothered to call, text or write to us to tell us what has happened, when i complained i was offered £1.50 to use the caravan jet wash..... not at all impressed as we pay nearly £500 a year to use their storage. Grumble and moaned all day about it not at all happy.

At £500 a year, I would say that it's time to find somewhere else to store it.

Agreed, we used to pay £300 a year for storage at a Cassoa gold site(Cassoa, insurance company approved storage facility), gold being the highest level of security. I now store it at a customer's farm for £100 less.

I must be undercharging! Caravans are stored on my land for £16.00 per month, with 24 hour key access, and monitored daily by me as my drive passes them to reach the road. (rare for me not to enjoy a daily drive!). Also have an airline to help with low pressure tyres available on site.

MOVE!

That's not very good at all, surely a phone call wouldn't have been too difficult for them.

Steve.

mstill seems expensive unless it has lop security like Cassoa requires. Ie cctv, floodlights, perimiter fencing, night watchman, razor wire, double security gates

That is very reasonable, I oay 200 for farm storage, no security , but someone on site 24/7 with it being a working farm.
