Could somebody tell me what type of xenon bulbs i got in my 2005 75 with factory xenon?
I think they need replacement (weak light beam)

D2s at about 4600k. Also dismantle and clean the fish eye lens

Dipped beam will indeed be a D2s, these are a second mortgage at places like Halfords, but Matt @ DMGRS does a good deal for these, so well worth a look.

Enjoy fitting them, not quite the same as the standard bulb to fit, but worth the effort !

Do not do this, its a total pain in the NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-, and its not really worth doing. Plus the only way of taking the unit out is to separate the headlight.

All the ZT headlights Ive ever seen have a sort of coating inside the lens... cleaning it you always risk bits of dust, even tiny ones getting into the glass fish eye, and it will haunt/annoy you forever more if it happens.

Ha ha.... Do this in my sleep... Hour to do each out and in again... You do get a fogging and cleaning it does make a difference...
Dust is not a big issue as the lenses are not hermeticaly sealed etc. And a can of air clears dust...

Replace your burners with 6000k white, a brilliant upgrade and a lot of light on the road :}

I thought the higher K, the lower the visible light output for the same power - hence 4300k, though appearing more yellowish, are actually brighter.

I have tried many combinations while testing lights and find 6000k give a more pure, white light with good distance contrast. Above that and you start getting blue and less use again...

K (Kelvin) is the colour of the output, not brightness, 4300K is the OEM for the xenons, this might help http://www.mobilehid.com/3000k.htm
