From what I have been informed Sean, is the MG7 and Roewe750 grille's are different in design at the top and will not fit the UK premium bumper. The grille is broader at the top and replaces the body coloured bit across the middle of the UK bumper that is seen between the grille and bonnet. There is no body coloured part of the bumper between the grille and the bonnet on the 7 and 750.

I did the same thing Arry I put £ instead of USD, the bumper is $495 shipped and not £495 :D

The grille price is correct, she sent me an invoice for USD150 + USD 70 shipping for a Rover 75 premium grille (£141), I paid and sent her a copy of the transaction for her to check with their bank. She sent me an email the next day to say is is being prepared for shipping.

To be sure Arry, tell her you want to buy one and ask her to send you payment advice and details for the actual ammount of a bumper including freight, she must have made a mistake, the grille is USD150 plus postage and not the bumper.
If she quoted you USD150 for a bumper she made a mistake. It makes sense in the fact that if she quoted USD150 for a bumper then the grille would be around USD60 which is about £38

I'm getting all a'quiver!

She has informed me that she cannot help with fittings for a bare bumper, therefore anyone with a bare bumper nees to attach components themselves,

She sent me an invoice for the cost of a Rover 75 premium bumper

Actual cost is below

Rover 75 premium bumper USD380 shipping USD120 (£320)
Rover 75 premium grille USD150 shipping UDS70 (£141)

I have bought a grille and am awaiting its arrival,

Anyone wants to order send me a PM and I will let you have all the payment info

Are you still planning on a 'group buy' for these items to minimise carriage costs or will it be up to individuals to order?
I realise there are redistribution logistics on this and have they been costed?

Does Ms Carrie have the small grill/mesh panels for the MGR Premium bumper as well?
If so, I'll put my name on the list for a premium grill and panels.

If a Group Buy is going to go ahead then I would be interested in getting a Premium Bumper and matching Grill as long as wecan be assured that they will fit the UK Spec cars.
Not too worried about fitting the attachments if they can be transferred from our existing Bumpers. I presume this is possible ?

Regards,

Arry.

I believe the fog lamp mountings are plastic lugs welded to the rear surface. I guess we'll will have to use a resin of some kind to fabricate reliable mounting lugs. Perhaps a fibreglass type of thing. The grills have a rather poor mounting system from what I've read. That will be a matter of seeing what the grill has in the way of attachment points and fabricating something on the rear of the bumper to take them. The indicator lamps just clip into the cutouts in the bumper. The screws, fir tree coupler gizmos and other bits and pieces are probably available from Rimmer/Xpart if necessary.

Here is a picture of the rear of a Premium bumper.

The fog lamps are attached to quite a large plastic moulding that is also used to hold the left and right part of the grill and the whole moulding bonded/glued to the bumper.
The middle parts of the grey plastic grill are attached using the studs that come through the bumper from the chrome grill surround.
The indicator lamps just clip in.
The foam inserts that fit between the bumper and the crash beam are different to the ones fitted to the facelift bumper.

So, the problems would involve,

Attaching the foglamps.
Sourcing the foam inserts.
The shape of the air ducting between grill and radiator is different for the Premium and Facelift bumper, so would need modifying.
Fixing inserts beneath each indicator.
Fitting/making a filler piece for the wheel-arch [the Premium bumper is wider at the lower wheel-arch than the Facelift]

None of the above would be insurmountable, just need to be aware what is needed.

I have a List And Prices of many of the ROEWE Bumper accessories,
If Someone can determine from this list, what is required to simplify the fit.
It includes Headlamps, Fog and Signal lamps "linings" and Mounting.

Duotone, Why don't you PM me your email and Ill send to you.?
