The colours of Summer
 

Thought I would take a few photos of front and rear gardens whilst they are full of colour. It'll be nice to look back on them during the dismal days of Winter :}

Meadow flowers...
 

Driving back from Hartlepool the other day the central reservation (A689) was covered in different meadow flowers. Blue cornflowers, red poppies, and some yellow and white thingies (I'm NOT a gardener). I assume they had been planted deliberately as they were evenly distributed. Simple but very effective.

Ideal place for Autumn is the Lake District - the colours in the forests around the Keswick and Southwards area are the nearest we get to North America in my humble opinion. Tarn Howes with gold and red leaves is stunning.
