Foxfield Railway Sunday 18th June...

I have been in talking to one of our members 2750 HP (Steve) about getting a meet at the Foxfield Railway where he happens to own and run his own steam locomotive we have decided on the 18th of June , the railway have kindly given us prime position for our parking which will be on a hard tarmac carpark and also half price on train rides on the day , we are looking at a 9.00-9.30 start ..

Here is a link to the Foxfield Railway..

2750 HP (Steve) his engine is at 2.10 on the video it is a green called Whiston .

There is a very large field for camping, decent real ale bar and excellent buffet.
This sounds like it should be cracking day if you love steam with the chance to get up close and personal to an steam engine .

I've been a few times to Foxfield, it's a good day out. The line isn't very long but a pleasant ride all the same. I'll be there the weekend before with Potteries Morris Minor Owners Club, so I'm not going to go again the weekend after, sorry:getmecoat: any other time I might well have gone.
