Renewing rear brake hoses

Depends on whether your brake pipes are original or not.

When I replaced the rear brake pipes I had a lot of trouble freeing the brake pipes from the hoses, seemed to be welded together. Eventually cut the brake pipe and used a regular socket (failed) and then Irwins on the nipple to get them apart.

I've got a pit, but if you intend doing the same job on ramps I'd leave it to your local garage.

Good luck

Thanks would have been doing it on the roadside on jack and axle stands, so decided as my knee are done in to ship it out to garage just in case
