Kings Lynn Meets Attendance Register
 

For those members who have expressed an interest with regards to Mr. D's meets here are his planned dates for this year.

Sunday April 24th

Sunday June 26th

Sunday August 28th

Sunday October 30th.

I realise that no doubt these dates won't suit everyone, but just try and make the one's that you can! :wink:

The venue will be the same as always which is the Dragonfly Hotel at Kings Lynn, http://www.dragonflykingslynn.co.uk/

He will be speaking to the Hotel again about arranging hot food on the Meet days, as this was stopped without warning for the last meeting last year and will confirm it's re-introduction after he has spoken to them.

If all are happy with me to co-ordinate I will start a separate attendance thread shortly and keep Mark informed.

Sorry to read he has been deposed. He first visited my car in a supermarket car park outside Spalding a few years ago and gave a leaflet to my wife. On my return from the store I was told about him, and said I bet I know who that was. I was right, only through reading this forum. I have only attended one meet in K/L and was also surprised to read the name Dragonfly Hotel, didn't know it had changed it's name yet again (and I only live 20 miles away!).

Good luck to whoever organises meets and hope to see you there.

It will be a team effort on the organising front, but headed up by Mr. Doodles. I'll let people know as and when of any updates etc.

April the 24th is drive a classic day so will be plenty of older cars on the roads.

An update for the meets at Kings Lynn.

Well just to give people an up-date, I was in Kings Lynn this week, so called in to see why I hadn't heard back from Ashleigh about the food for these dates! :shrug:

Well I found out why he hasn't replied, he's no longer with them! :(

Anyway, I had a long and pleasant conversation with his replacement, a lady called Hayley and she has now assured me that she will rosta a chef on for our dates, so hot food will definitely be available! :-D

This is just a month away now, so those who would like to attend please let me know and I will pass your names on to Mark, Mr Doodles..
