Poor sound volume/th Bury car kit

Hi guys anyone got a (simple) solution to this one? Got a Bury hands free kit wired up to my HiLine ('premium' kit feeds audio through car speaker) with a bluetooth cradle. The sound volume from the phone when in use is very low, in fact can hardly hear it!! I've turned the phone volume up to max with no improvement, anyone got any ideas? Can the audio from the phone be fed through the HiLine amp to increase the sound?

How is it connected in.....? (Or where have you made the connections)

Originally installed professionally about 3 years ago using a tele mutes cable and interface, all behind the dash, using the standard loom before it connects to the sat nav loom which then runs to the boot. (I fitted the sat nav earlier this year and all works OK by simply plugging the sat nav loom into the 17 pin BM connector. The car never had the ISO connectors so it was a simple job). I wonder if it is because I'm using bluetooth? An old hard wired phone and cradle seems to work better. Can the signal be routed through the amp in the boot, it's the standard Rover job, no aux inputs?

I've got a Nokia CK7W kit in my car and my noral phone is connected via a cradle. When I tried it via B/Tooth, the sound quality is very poor in comparison.
