Even though Sean's email addresses are on my safe sender list his mass emails for updates always end up in my junk folder

Well... I've now done the update to 4.4 ... haven't had much chance to look at it yet as I'm at work & should be working!!!! :D Will report back when I get home...

update done

had a play with the unit , once I configured how I wanted the sound is greatly improved for me , more bass etc and a better equalizer , unit is a bit nippier too boots up and loads apps a tad faster

music player has been updated as has the radio and has a more "grown up" look to it

all in all a good update , many thanks for letting us have this

John

Not done update yet,
But instruction sheet might be little confusing, the listed files are not there and instead only one file (MTCB-KGL.rar) + the instructions??

theridler 30th January 2015 13:38

What I did was to unzip that file, & then you get the update & mcu files...

Chilljohn 30th January 2015 13:43

same here , make sure that sd card is fat32 too , copy all 3 files after unzip to the root of the sd card , boot your head unit up then insert the sdcard into the GPS slot and up pops a message :)

nice to see a localish member theridler
