More Tough Times Ahead!
They say things come in three's and mine certainly has.
Having survived an allergic reaction to an anti-inflammatory drug and gone through major surgery. Now it seems after spending 3.5hrs at Torbay Hospital on Wednesday to find out if I have Prostate Cancer and the likelihood is that I do although I have no symptoms. But because of a high PSA result it's looking like it, I am now waiting for my appointment for an MRI scan. If the results are positive which I don't want then it's onto radiotherapy which will mean being not able to drive again. Things are just not fair but that's life as they say. |
WOW! Neil, life certainly kicks you when you're down at times. i hope the MRI scan is good news for you.

The funny thing about this is that I went to where the scanner is to see if I would fit in. I am a large guy even though I have lost 14 kilos, it's a tight fit but at least my head doesn't have to go into it. They told me it would take 35 minutes and I must remain still. But at least I get earplugs with headphones that plays music. A friend of mine who has been through the MRI scan described the noise as a bag of spanners going around in a washing machine.:} |
Wishing you all the best for your scan and the future Neil.
