Tourer rear window sills cleaned up.
 
As most tourer owners will know the rear window rubber inserts tend to weather and look tarnished.

I decided to try a scratch remover paste on a microfibre cloth and it is quite difficult to remove the tarnishing. This seemed to work really well and after an application of plastic trim shine the rubber inserts look almost as good as new.


Inserts part way through an application of scratch remover paste, lefthand side done, righthand side still to do.

I used a tyre wax which can also be used on plastic trim as well. Please see the link below for the product I used, although you maybe able to but it cheaper on the high street as I bought in a shop called Proper Job and paid about £3..99.
