Clutch master cylinder
 
Hi Everyone
Can aynyone tell me where I can check the level of fluid in the clutch master cylinder on my 75 club CDT

There is no official fluid level check as the part is meant to be 'sealed for life'.

Have a read of this (credit to 'rukka' posted on .org) it may help you

The clutch master cylinder is directly on top of the clutch pedal. On top of that is a small egg cup sized reservoir. Take the lid off and stick your finger in - it will stay dry. Rover in their infinite wisdom (or BMW) put a seal in it with just enough fluid to fill the line.

Take the lower dash panel off to give you more working room as it is tight for space.
If you are intending to top it up then say so as there are more instructions around that I can put my hands on.

As I take it there is no user check on master cylinder fluid leve
