Spotted in Malta
The 75’s are getting to be a rare find in Malta as the years go by but last month I spotted this UK registered one sitting round the corner from our friends house.
Registration SO03 YEY looked like a Connoisseur in burgundy At this private location I often see U.K. plated cars particularly Rover 45’s so I think someone local must be a dealer. You often see U.K. plated cars running around and no doubt un taxed in typical Maltese fashion. |
Of course I should have checked the details on DVLA site first but it appears the tax was due in June 2016 and MOT March 2017 so it’s been sitting somewhere for some time
Oh ! And it’s diesel |

The previous owner of my car sold his Dorchester to someone from Malta.

Diesel
When I visited last month, I noticed the price of diesel in Malta is 1.21 Euros at every single garage. Apparently, the price does not change like here in the UK as it's Government controlled. How nice! I'm envious!:drool4:

That's right, and no council tax and no tv licence, although petrol is a bit dearer.
