Spy Hole Drill bit and grommets

Dear All
Just before the down pour on Saturday I cleared all the plenum tubes and put in the spy hole grommet, its a good job I did! If anyone needs the drill bit and couple of grommets just drop me a PM and I'll pop them in the post.

Hi Bob.
Did you have a read of this, new and even long time owners should be prepared for the wet weather that will be coming our way over the next 6 months.

The sound of sloshing water

Hi Artic,
Thank you and yes I did! When I first bought the car, every time I went round a corner I could hear the sound of sloshing water, it sounded like I was at sea! Took the cover off (and lost all the clips in the engine bay!) cleaned out the plenum tubes and about half a gallon of water drained out!
This was an easy one to sort out! Still got a rattle to sort out when the V6 is cold, I did swap the inlet manifold for another one and uprated the viz motors, hasn't made a difference but I do have yet another one with a cruise control throttle which I am going to fit when I replace the thermostat (I am not doing it the keyhole method as, last time, it ripped my forearm to sheds)!! Lets hope its not piston slap!! When I eventually got the car through its MOT, coolant started coming out when they warmed up the car for its emissions test, the good news is that the car seem to be fixing itself! After the first week back at school it was losing some coolant on my 50 mile round journey to school, for the past two days the coolant level hasn't moved!! I am still wary on this! My other job is to replace the cooling fan with the I one I just got from Jules! The car has just done 100,000 miles and is a lovely car so I m determined to sort it out. I will have a new car when I'm finished and I like a challenge!
Take care and best wishes,
Bob
