75 Tourer and ZT-T

Whoooah. Fret not. I'm not leaving The Fold, packing up like an Arab in the night and going off to the dark side of Audi and the like. But here's The Deal.

Currently, I have a surfeit of Rovers/MGs. Something's got to give. I'll shortly be completing the red ZT-T I bought recently which is undergoing a full strip and restoration with the intent to bring her up to better-than-showroom standard. I've built many cars and generally know what I'm doing. I'm either going to sell the red ZT-T once she's finished or bless my Seafrost 75 Hi-line Tourer with a new owner. The latter has been serviced to death, new belts all round, uprated clutch, Tazu master, new slave, refurbished Starspokes with new tyres, Iceland-in-winter aircon, the list goes on. Plus it has a roof flip-down DVD player with multistack unit in the boot to keep the sprogs sedated on long journeys.

Body is straight, the interior is in excellent shape with full black leather and it's available with full years MOT from next week. There's a ton of tax on her too.

Please register your interest by PM-ing me. Ta.

Please note, pic shows the temporary wheels while the Starspokes were being made like new again.

I'd be looking for offers around £2750 for the Seafrost and nearer £4000 for the soon-to-be mint ZT.

Thanks.

Hi Brian, can you state an asking price please to comply with club rules :bowdown: It just gives folk an even starting point and prevents a nasty bidding war.

Can't see any pictures on your post either? Shout if you are having difficulty adding them :}

Sorted. Sorry 'bout that!

Seafrost **NLA**

Since I've decided to concentrate on the ZT-T restoration, I've reluctantly decided to offer Seafrost to another loving owner and put the cash towards the ZT-T work ('cos it's starting to cost a king's randsom).

I probably need not explain the journey that Seafrost and I have had as many will know from my previous postings but, suffice to say, she's had an awful lot done to her to bring her up to scratch. Needs nothing doing.

She also has nearly every conceivable extra, including fully electric, heated memory seats, sunroof, cruise, aircon, blah blah blah. All the paperwork is present, owners manual etc as is two fully-working keys. The original satnav system and HK hifi (still fitted and present but negated by a higher-end, do-it-all head unit) is included in the sale. 104k miles. Fresh MOT, taxed until end of November.

I'll let the pics do the talking. Offers around £2700 (dropped from £3200 but now £2950 on eBay) to club members. Less if not wanting the hifi. (I'll fit the original H-line model)

Did you fit the Tazu master then?

SirRustalot 13th August 2014 23:09

Yes, It was a Tazu. In hindsight, I'd go for the billet-made item touted on this site as it uses the original pipework which, I can tell you from experience, is much easier. The original master is in for the moment as I've got a flexi pipe coming via a member. Sadly, since then, there seems to be a clutch, possibly DMF issue so it's going to a local specialist as I've ran out of time /patience.

I've got receipts amounting to nearly £1500 on this car since I've bought it, slowly ironing out the gremlins. Just need to get the clutch thing permanently sorted and it'll be a gem!!
