I am selling my (I say my, but officially it's in my wife's name!) 2002 (02) Rover 75 1.8 Club manual in White Gold. It's being sold to make way for a 2.0 V6 auto!
Equipment includes the usual all round electric windows, power steering, dual zone climate control and original radio/cassette player. The mileage is low for its age (67,050 at present, which is unlikely to increase much).
It has a full 12 months MOT, through to mid-June 2016. Unfortunately I only have partial service history, but I do have a folder of receipts on work carried out over the last 4 years or so. I am writing off to the previous owner asking whether they still have service history for the car, as it seems to have been pretty well maintained. If I get anything I shall pass that on to whoever buys the car.
Good points include that the car starts first time, every time and it has had 4 new Continental tyres fitted less than 2000 miles ago. Mechanically the car is in good shape.
Less good points include the front and rear bumpers having a few scratches, and the alloy wheels could perhaps do with a little bit of attention. There is a dent on the passenger side front wing, but it's all pretty cosmetic. Could probably be repaired fairly easily and cheaply.
Overall this is a pretty good car, with plenty of life still left in it. The head gasket is not giving any problems, and it has had the cam belts changed within the last couple of years or so.
Its also listed on Gumtree (
