Battery reset didn't do the trick.

Neither did any of the posted key resets (if it were the immobilizer)

I recon that the battery is just short of charge. Hot day today so had the A/C on all day and had two phones charging from the car, albeit with the motor running all the time.

Double checked the leads to the battery and to the starter motor.

Replacing the battery tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed that's the issue.

I know, a moment of stupidity in a hurry. Silly boy. Only myself to blame.
