Hi guys I do apologise if this has been beaten to death with a NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- stick but these are the symptoms.
My Son has let the battery discharge, I arrive with Triumph TR8 and attach Jump leads I start my car he gets into car and it turns over like a gatling gun but resolutely refuses to start..Its like an immobiliser is on..absolutely no stutter or cough just turns over. No warning lights either I leave my car running for ten minutes and remove jump leads, there is zero in his battery. We are going to remove the battery ( his car is at his work) tonight and recharge and refit but could something have tripped and need resetting at all as I said it just was never going to start although it did turn over on the starter motor very quickly.
Any help much appreciated.
I have just sold the Volvo 850R and am looking for another Rover/MG Tourer so I'll be back!
