He says it must be the bearing but I am not convinced he has the sensor in right. he says he can't get it in or out now and left.

Could it still be the sensor? I don't know anyone reputable close by except the Xpart dealer at Riddings which will charge a fortune and only work the same hours as me, but I don't want to keep paying ordinary garages and end up with an even bigger bill, and its a bit far to take to Andy (and I am sure he never wants to see her again!)

If there is time I will try and get a T4 at tomorrow's Nano, but not sure that will help as I know which one it is!
Dawn, you have been getting beat up lately. It should start coming good for you anytime now. I expect there will be people at the nano meet who have more ABS sensor experience than the mobile guy (who I would not call again). Hopefully one of them can pull that sensor out and re-install it properly. May be just the usual rust buildup under the mounting flange that needed to cleaned up. They are also a tight fit in the hole, so I think some guys clean out that hole of dirt and rust (making it fractionally bigger) so the new sensor can more easily fit all the way in. Maybe bring the original sensor with the broken wire just in case (if that was all that was wrong with it).

Cheers,
Glenn
