Well, I've left 2 messages on the answerphone at The Thorn, but nobody has called me back. I was actually able to speak to a living human being at The Cat and Lion and - as I pass it on the way to The Thorn _ I'll go there first tonight. If nothing else it gives a chance for a comparison between the 2 venues.
If anyone passes The Thorn before 19:00 and finds it open - with food available - and believes curiosity killed The Cat, or isn't inquisitive enough to find out if it's car park is still darker than the shady side of the Moon, please give me a ring or message me. Cheers
The meeting ended up taking place at The Cat & Lion and we intend to meet there for the foreseeable future.
