I'm inthe process of replacing the rear shock.
first one is out, but the nut at the top won't budge
and I was planning on re-using the top mount/bellows etc.
I put a 5mm allen key in the vice, located the shock on the key (yes fully home
)
Spanner on the nut and twisted the allen key, now spiral shaped
2nd key, and that is visibly twisting until I stop applying force to the spanner & it returns to origing shape.
I've left it soaking in WD40
Any tips ? appart from get someone else to do it
