Quite, both are in the handbook and hopefully tested on vehicles by MGR to see if anything untoward resulted. However, it is not unknown for wider or lower aspect tyres to produce undesirable effects. It may only be accelerated tyre wear or something more fundamental. In any case the tyre size you have had fitted has been cleared by the producer of the vehicle.

I had a Transfer Box go u/s on a X-Type Jaguar and thus made a claim. The appointed "Engineer" assessing tried to suggest the incorrect tyres might be being used. Pointed to the list on the A post but he still put it in his report.
