Thanks for the websites they were very interesting, however I had searched for some time and found many references to repairing the VIS motors with a soldering iron, but this was not what I required.

I just needed reassurance as to what it involved in removing and replacing the motors.... this I did not find.

I have no experience of the V6 motor as all my experience is with the K4.

I'll ring Rimmers tomorrow to check availability and have a go using Mike's part numbers and info.
