I get the Liverpool Belfast ferry twice a month, the Cairnryan Belfast ferry once a week or so, I've never shown them a passport.
On the rare occassion I've been asked for identification my driving license has been more than adequate - nobody needs to rush out and get a passport to come here if they a recognised form of photo id. Our anpr has now caught up with the rest of the UK so you won't need proof of road tax either.
Colin looks to be organising a cracking event here, I'm sure everybody who comes will have an amazing time.
