A few years ago a member in Denmark (I think) suffered a failure. If my memory can be believed, the electric motor is a silver cylinder (not unlike an old fashioned ignition coil) which can be slid out of all the surrounding plastic pipework.
By the way Chris, I thoroughly approve of your further test at the Schrader valve.
