Started my Spring detail the other day - always nice to properly get to grips with all the stuff the Winter throws at my Baby.
So far I have:
- cleaned the door jams and hinges, though I want to take the front doors off at some point to properly get into the backs of the front wings
- machine polished the bonnet and roof. Still got the rest of the car to do, but there were a couple of small scratches left by a neighbours cat that needed urgent attention. All sorted now. (the scratches, not the cat!)
- Bought a set of shiny new numberplates to go on.
Todays task was to start cleaning the engine bay. Still some areas to tackle, but made some good progress today, though mainy in areas that probably won't get noticed.
A few pics of todays efforts:
Got sore fingers now.
Sadly, I won't be able to make it to the National this month, but John Howard has arranged for a stand at a show at Clandon House later in the summer so I've got that to work towards.
