I think I can put together the history of the keepers of the car, it's the initial 2001 registration that's interesting - there will be scans of forms from when it was registered which will show interesting light I suspect (and DVLA only charge £5 for this - or did the last time I did research like this).
I've spent a lot of the last 20 years researching 1960's Rovers, usually in dusty registers, the thought of plugging one in to get history is new to me
