Difference being that the Typhoon can go flat out for a lot longer than the 6 minutes (I think it is) of the Lightning.

The other difference being that the Eurofighter is a highly agile aerodynamic platform with two engines.
The Lightning was two engines with small wings and a cockpit stuck to them.
There's a Lightning and many other cold war era jets at the Yorkshire Air Museum. Well worth a visit.
