Looks like a BMW 7-Series from this angle - they've even called it 750!
The premium Rover grille, LWB layout, Mercedes-inspired interior and new rear make it almost unrecognisable from the 1998 Rover 75. Only the front wings and doors seem to remain.
I do think they need to sort out the MG badge in a Rover shaped recess on the steering wheel. Why not use a ZT wheel?
Shame it is not coming here. In 5-years time I would love to buy a 60-plate one for a few thousand. Perhaps that is the problem. New car buyers are a different breed and wouldn't want to buy it in significant numbers after all the negative press.
