Keep the car at home. Don't let anyone take it away. You will never see it again. Insist that any inspection is done at your address. Yes it may well be written off but just collect the insurance and repair it. Bonnet and bumper are easily replaced and you will have money in the bank for any other jobs you fancy having done.
