I have a Makerbot printer at home, and yes it helps me a lot in spare parts replacement problem. I’m currently in the process of printing iPhone case using rubber-like filament from 3d2print.net. 3D printers and its materials may be quite expensive, but if you’re planning to get into 3D printing, I assure you can save a lot of money in the long run. It’s definitely a great business investment.
